Safety
Your Stove Fan must be placed on a flat and level surface, with the fan blades free to rotate. Please ensure the fan is placed in this correct position before lighting the stove. Stoves get really hot, they are designed too, when in use your Stove Fan will get hot and circulate hot air.
Stove fans are highly attractive as well as functional and will draw attention to onlookers, therefore please ensure that any elderly, infirm, children or pets are supervised during operation.
It is not recommended to move the fan whilst in operation unless to remove in the event of the stove over firing, in this instance always wear gloves to protect against burns or contact with the blades. Do not cause obstruction to the fan blades, this could damage the Fan or the item in contact with the fan.

Operation
Carefully remove the Fan from the packing and position on a smooth level surface to the side of the flue pipe ensuring the blades rotate freely, the top section must not be touching any hot surfaces.
The Fan operates from around 100°C to around 340°C – the optimum operating temperature is 250°C. At the base of the fan there is a Bi-Metallic strip, this is a safety device which lifts the base of the stove when the temperature exceeds 250°C, this protects the motor and optimizes the overall operation and efficiency of the fan.
The fan will operate with any stove where the surface temperature does not exceed 340°C (644°F). Stoves exceeding this range may cause damage to the components. If in doubt, please check the stove operating manual or use a Stove Pipe Thermometer on the stove top.
The fan starts automatically as the surface temperature increases, and slows to a stop as the surface cools. Running any stove too hot or too cold may waste fuel and cause dangers to occupants, stove, flue or fan, consult a suitably qualified engineer or your stove vendor for further information.

Care and Maintenance
Stove fans do not require maintenance in normal operation, the fan will benefit from an occasional clean when cool using a clean damp cloth, carefully remove any dust on the cooling fins and blades. Do not immerse in water or any cleaning solution.
When not in use store the fan in the original packaging for safety.

Problem Solving
If the fan looks to be vibrating, this may be due to the blades becoming out of alignment, when cold, slowly rotate the blades while observing the gap between the tip of each blade and the top. If one or more of the blades is out of alignment they can be carefully adjusted by holding the blades whilst applying slight pressure to the misaligned blade. Check and repeat this process as required.

Had this fan a week now and it does everything it says in the reviews, you can feel the heat it circulates into the room so you benefit from horizontal heating before convection occurs. It came very quickly and was appropriately packaged, very simple to set up.
Worth the money.Review by Damien

Well I was a bit not sure but paying the extra money for a better fan. it is well worth it, the room is baking. What a product it is that quiet you forget it's there. Worth the money.

Already had a cheap 2 bladed fan which worked okay, bought this one, the speed of the fan is much faster, and the heat pushed into the room is noticeable increased. A good buy.
A Good BuyReview by Bob

I bought the fan as an early family Christmas present in mid-December. I was a little skeptical about whether it would work as advertised, after all it's a comparatively small fan and it doesn't exactly blow a gale but the difference has been enormous. After about an hour it's almost uncomfortably warm in the living room and we need to take off our sweaters and open the doors to let some cooler air in.

I would heartily recommend the product and it arrived promptly

Brilliant. Bought it to replace an old Stirling-engined one that had got too noisy and unreliable.
It's made an enormous difference to our living room as the heat is moved away from the chimney breast and into the room. Worth every penny.
Happy with it!Review by Norman

A fantastic and very efficient little workhorse ! This fan does not have as much height as my other fan and sits easily at the back of my stove which is recessed into a fireplace void . My other fan which I love is too tall to use effectively on this fire so purchased this 4 blade Valiant which is lightweight but strong and it works a treat distributing heat evenly around the room.We are not using our central heating and its -1c outside today. We have 2 multi fuel stoves in the house and most often mix wood and coal briquette to great effect..A GREAT INVESTMENT ! Nice to look at and compliments my Canadian fan I use in the back of the house.
Just right!Review by Tam

Had been researching stove fans for a while, but didn't jump at buying until I could find one that would fit our stove. This is very compact.
The fan is fairly robust, the fan is well made.
