2010 Busiest Online Shopping Day Was Monday 29 Nov

Visa Europe, the payment company, reported that online shoppers spent the most on Monday, 29 November in 2010.

They also reported that shoppers spent £265 million on Monday alone. Most of the transactions took place during the lunch break and in the evening when people came back from work.

In a different research report, Visa Europe predicted that almost three-quarters of consumers planning to buy Christmas presents online. It is almost 33% higher than last year.

Retail analysts forecasted that December 18 will be the busiest day for the traditional high street shops. Around 10 million consumers will be spending a total of £1.1 billion on this Christmas period.

    I don't believe a single word from Visa Europe or Master Card , let alone the crooks of the crook Paypal.

    They all are PR stunt and making people spend more using their rubbish services
